This safari lodge is decorated with warm wooden accents and offers you the outdoor life without compromising on comfort. In the fully equipped kitchen, you'll prepare meals with ease, thanks to a 4-burner gas stove, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle and even a dishwasher within reach. The cosy living area is the heart of the lodge, where you and your group can unwind in front of the smart TV. Free WiFi keeps you connected, though the peaceful surroundings might just tempt you to switch off for a while. A private bathroom with shower, sink and toilet completes your stay.

Sleeping across two levels

The sleeping area is spread over the ground floor and a loft. Downstairs, the kids sleep in a bunk bed, while the loft offers a double bed. All beds measure 80 by 200 centimetres, perfect for a good night's rest after a day out on the Veluwe.

The wooden veranda acts as an extra room during your stay. Start your day here with coffee and a view over the peaceful camping field, and the garden furniture makes long evenings outside all the more inviting. The nearby playground means the kids feel right at home instantly, while you relax on the veranda. Your pet is more than welcome too, so the whole family can join the trip.

From your lodge to the facilities of De Boshoek

As a guest of the safari lodge, you get to enjoy everything the park has to offer. Take a dip in the indoor pool or let the little ones splash around in the paddling pool, then try your luck at bowling or a game of pétanque. During holidays, the entertainment team adds extra fun, and the outdoor playgrounds offer plenty of space to play. You won't have to walk far for food either: Restaurant Nest, the breakfast buffet, the snack bar and De Markt are all close by. Explore the Veluwe by bike with the bike rental, or challenge yourself in the X-Cube Escape Room. From Voorthuizen, you can walk straight into the forests and heathlands, with villages like Garderen within easy reach. The safari lodge is available from March through October.
