September and October are excellent months for a nice late summer. Treat you and your partner or company to a midweek break or weekend away. Stay in all the luxury and tranquility you long for. Choose a cozy chalet for 2, 4 or 6 people. There are even chalets with your own wellness facilities, such as a hot tub and/or sauna. For example at the Veluwe Lodge and Veluwe Lounge.
A WEEKEND AWAY OR A MID WEEK AWAY ON THE VELUWE
Would you rather take a break with a slightly larger group? Choose a bungalow for 6 to 8 people or our group accommodations for 10 to 24 people. In our Wellness Villa (14 persons) you have your own outdoor pool, sauna and jacuzzi! You also have a lot of privacy in our Group Villa and Group Farm, but all park facilities are within walking distance. This way you can enjoy some well-deserved rest at our campsite near Garderen.
HOLIDAY IN THE NETHERLANDS ON THE VELUWE
When you think of the Veluwe you probably immediately think of forests, but there is much more than that. The Veluwe is the second largest nature reserve in the Netherlands. It is a beautiful area to discover the many cycling and walking routes, but you can also explore the area on horseback. With extensive heathlands, forests, unique sand plains, estates and spectacular views, the Veluwe is the most versatile area in the Netherlands to relax or actively explore. Do you like wildlife spotting? Then go out early in the day or in the evening. There is a good chance that you will encounter a deer, wild boar or roe deer.
Go out on one of the walking or cycling routes. The reception can advise you on this. Discover the beautiful forest covered oak and beech trees in Speulderbos. And see how in the southwest of the Veluwe the moraine forests of oak, beech and birch slowly change into fields and grasslands, which end at the Rhine and the IJssel.
