1. General regulations

1. Stay as vacationer

1.1.       As vacationer you can stay at our park for up to 150 days (of which 90 consecutive) per year, unless agreed otherwise.

1.1.a    If you can not comply with the rule above for whatever reason, we ask you to contact the reception and ask for explicit permission. If we find a breach of this rule, we will impose a fine of at least € 750, added to the current surcharge rate for a long stay. Furthermore, we will charge you for the period we suspect you did not comply with this rule.

1.2.      As vacationer, you are not allowed to sign up with the municipality of Barneveld as resident at the park address.

1.3.      As vacationer, you, your fellow recreationer, and your third parties, have to behave as befits a good renter when present at the park. You must comply with the internal rules.

1.4.      You are to follow instructions of staff of Recreatiepark De Boshoek at all times.

1.5.      The operator provides the agreed plot to the vacationer for recreational purposes, so not for permanent occupancy.

1.6.      As vacationer, you are responsible for providing us with your correct personal details and email address. We bill and communicate outages and so forth exclusively through email.

1.7.      De Boshoek reserves the right to change the plot number (camping spot, rental accommodation, and hotel room). This has to occur before the start of the rental period. If vacationers have paid for a preferential booking, this is not possible. Recreationers with a fixed rental plot can not make a preferential booking.

2. Access and parking

2.1.     To allow you to operate the gate we need your license plate, if you wish to change it you can send an email to jaarplaatsen@deboshoek.nl.

2.2.      When renting a plot, you have the right to access the park with 1 car. If you have created a private parking spot within the boundaries of your plot, you can file a request for approval of a second car. Please note! A parking spot at your plot does not automatically grant you access to the park with a 2nd car. Fees also apply to the right to access with a 2nd car. When these are not paid in time, this right immediately expires. You can cancel this right yearly. If a 2nd car is not allowed at the park, you can get an annual subscription to our paid parking zone. This is only possible when there is enough capacity. You are not allowed to drive multiple cars through the gate at the same time, if we notice this the license plate access will be removed.

2.3.      You may only park in the designated spots. Parking on or partially on the road is not allowed, as is parking on someone else's plot, greenery, or empty plots.

2.4.      In order to get access to the park, the maximum size of your vehicle is: 4.70 meters (length), 1.90 meters (width), and 1.95 meters (height) (similar to a VW Transporter). Vehicles that are larger are not allowed at the park.

2.5.      You are not allowed to provide access to the park to an unregistered vehicle in any way. If this is observed, the access to the park for vehicles of the plot renter will be revoked for at least 1 year. The unregistered car will be towed and the plot renter will be charged for this.

2.6.      All parking spots outside your plot are for general use. You are not allowed to claim a parking spot and/or mark the parking spot with your plot number.

3. Traffic

3.1.      Follow the maximum speed of 5 kph at the park at all times.

3.2.      The Nederlands Wegen Verkeers Reglement applies on our grounds.

3.3.      Motorized vehicles (except for handicapped vehicles) can only be used on the park to drive from the entrance of the park to the plot, or from the plot to the exit, via the shortest route possible. Please note: playing with (electric) motorized vehicles (scooter/hoverboard etc.) is also not allowed for safety reasons. Driving electric motorized vehicles is only allowed with a valid driver license.

3.4.      Avoid driving on the grounds as much as possible. Do not use your car when you go to the restaurant, swimming pool, De Markt, or the reception.

3.5.      Between 9 p.m. and 8 a.m., motor bikes and (light) mopeds may only be pushed on the park with the engine turned off. Outside these hours, motor bikes and (light) mopeds are allowed to drive off the park and to the plot. Electric modes of transport can be used on the park below the maximum speed (10 kph), as long as 3.3 is respected.

3.6.      It is forbidden to repair vehicles on the grounds.

3.7      It is forbidden to park trailers, carts, caravans, campers, etc. on the park and the general parking facilities.

4. Stay and parking third parties

4.1.      You are allowed to sign up a "second family". Yearly fees apply. You can get the form "sign-up second family" at the reception. You can sign up up to 1 second family per plot. Upon sign-up, the persons obtain the same rights and obligations as you and your fellow vacationers.

4.2.     As renter, you are responsible and liable for your third parties (both financially and in terms of behavior).

4.3.      If your third parties would like to use our outdoor pool/tennis court, they need to purchase an access card at the reception.4.3.   Third party vehicles are not allowed on the park. Third parties can park at the designated (paid) parking spots outside the park gates. If you visitors bring goods or do not walk well, you can pick up your visitors or transfer the goods at these parking spots.

5. Your plot

5.1.      Every vacationer must keep their spot free of rubbish.

5.2.      You are strictly forbidden to remove weeds with a gas burner or any other flammable device.

5.3.      You are not allowed to aim a (dummy) camera at the plot of someone else. So you are not allowed to film a corner of the yard of your neighbors. Your (dummy) camera can not film through the windows of your neighbors across the road. A (dummy) camera can also not be aimed at the public road.

5.4.      You are not allowed to fly a drone at the park without explicit permission of the management.

5.5       Your chalet has to be in good technical condition and has to be inspected.

5.6.      You must acquire written permission through the permission form construction work to refurbish, place side buildings, or renovate (the yard).

5.7.      Your plot separator can only consist of permanent greenery. This greenery can not grow taller than 1.80 meters or be within 5 cm of the main road. If your plot separator borders another plot, you have a shared responsibility for the height and upkeep of the plot separator.

5.8.     Plot separators with a foundation are strictly forbidden.

5.9.      You are not allowed to let your plot separator grow outside of your plot. This impedes emergency services, transport on the park, and can create unsafe conditions for road users. As a standard, you must keep at least 5 cm of space between the plot separator and the main road. Keep growth of the greenery in mind when replacing your plot separator. You are advised to plant the greenery 50 cm from the main road. If your plot separator does not comply with the requirements and this creates an emergency situation or impedes the transport of a camping accommodation, we must remove the plot separator and charge you for this. We can not be held liable for damage to your plot separator.

5.10.   At your plot, you can add up to 1 patio to the chalet of up to 7.00m x 4.00m without permanent walls, or 1 detached patio of up to 3.00m x 3.00m with a maximum of 1 permanent wall. You must acquire written permission through the permission form construction work to build a patio.

5.11 To maintain the quality of the park, you can only let Recreatiepark De Boshoek deliver a chalet. Make an appointment for this through jaarplaatsen@deboshoek.nl. We will discuss the requirements with you, so your new chalet meets the visual and quality demands of De Boshoek.

5.12.   Placing fencing is strictly forbidden.

5.13.    You must properly maintain your plot and keep it free of rubbish and bulky waste. If this is not the case, we will inform you of this through email, and you will have 14 days to respond to this. If the 14-day period passes, we reserve the right to have maintenance work done and charge you for this.

5.14.    You must properly maintain your chalet and side buildings. If we notice your chalet or side buildings are not properly maintained, we will contact you. We allow you to perform the maintenance work within a reasonable period.

5.15.   Always keep an eye out for cables and piping when digging. If you accidentally damage a cable or pipe, please inform the reception to have this fixed, at your own expense of course. If at a later point we notice damage you have caused before, the repair fees only increase unnecessarily, and you will still be charged for them.

5.16.   You are not allowed to do construction work on your chalet or plot during school holidays and weekends. Please schedule construction/refurbishing/renovation work which may cause nuisances in the months November to March. If you wish to do construction work on your chalet or plot, you must acquire written permission through the permission form construction work.

5.17.    Maintenance work (such as pruning or mowing the lawn) is allowed all year at suitable times; outside the school holidays and weekends between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.

5.18.   Your plot needs to be accessible without any limitations for meter readings (every quarter). Garden fencing and so forth can not be locked.

5.19.    You are responsible for all pines and other greenery on your plot and in your plot separator. Make sure these do not grow too large, because this can be dangerous. Should we notice these pines do not meet the demands or are unsafe, we can force you to remove these trees from your plot or have them removed.

5.20.    You are not allowed to prune deciduous trees on the park without permission. You can use the permission form construction work for this. If you are unsure about the condition of the tree, we request you report this through jaarplaatsen@deboshoek.nl

5.21.    The fire department does not allow you to (re)place conifers.

5.22.    Placing solar panels is not allowed.

5.23.    Chalets of inferior quality and/or with an unsatisfactory look can be blocked access to the park or be removed from the park by the management.

5.24.    Upon the end of the rental agreement, if you do not sell your chalet, you must deliver your plot empty, following the form "plot delivery". This form can be acquired through jaarplaatsen@deboshoek.nl.

5.25.    Party tents are allowed. Keep in mind that if you are not present in winter, you must remove the cloth.

5.26.    If a shared electric box is present on your plot, you must allow anyone connected to this electric box access to your plot.

6. Selling or renting out your chalet

6.1.     Subrenting or commercial short rental of your chalet is not allowed, unless written permission has been given. When this rule is not complied with, the renter will immediately be denied access to the park. Subrenting with a 'permanent' character is strictly prohibited. You are always responsible for your renters (also in case of financial negligence, for example).

6.2.      Selling your chalet while preserving rental rights to the plot is only allowed if you have received written permission. You can acquire a "permission form sales" through info@chalet-kopen.com for this. We always reserve the right to not allow the sale of your chalet while preserving rental rights to the plot. Guidelines for rejecting the preservation of rental rights are:

  • - The chalet is more than 25 years old
  • - The chalet is defective or does not meet the
  • safety norms (observed by a third party
  • )
  • - The chalet or plot/side buildings detract from
  • the look of the park
  • - Rejected plot inspection by De Boshoek

6.3.     You can let us act as intermediary, or you can offer the chalet for sale yourself after approval. The requirements and fees regarding sales are listed on the corresponding permission form.

Before we allow a sale while preserving the plot, we require an inspection report of a maximum of 24 months ago, and the plot must have been maintained following the park regulations. If the plot has not been maintained following the park regulations, we will not give permission for a sale. Do also keep in mind that the new renter must first be assigned by the management, before the chalet with rental agreement can be sold.

6.4.     You are not allowed to privately advertise on the plot, in your chalet, or on the park.

6.5.      Third parties (non-commercial) are more than welcome at our park. You must report in advance that third parties stay in your chalet in order to list them in the night register, you can do this preferentially by email (jaarplaatsen@deboshoek.nl) or through a written registration at the reception. The fees for the stays will be booked for your plot. If we notice third parties that have not been registered are staying at your chalet, we will charge you € 75 per night for this, because you are breaching the regulations.

7. Payment policy

7.1.     The rent of your plot will normally be invoiced on October 1, in equal installments on October 15 of the prior year, February 1 of the current year, and June 1 of the current year. If you pay the full plot rent before October 15 in the prior year, you will receive a discount.

This means you are not allowed to use systems that create sound, and you must keep your voice down and be mindful of your neighbors. You are kindly requested to minimize the use of motorized vehicles.

8.3.     During the weekends and in the months July and August please only mow the lawn or prune the hedges between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Keep other people's rest in mind.
